Spend time ashore in this granite bordered fjord carved by the force of glaciers, it's steep sides plunge into tranquil waters. Along with many waterfalls that change with the passing of season. There are many interesting features and occurrences in this glacial fjord. History of the area around Chatterbox Falls was once the private property of James MacDonald. He donated it to the Princess Louisa International Society to preserve it for the enjoyment of all. For greater public benefit ownership passed to the Province of British Columbia and Princess Louisa Marine Park was created. At the entrance to Princess Louisa Inlet is Young Life's Malibu Club. Begun in the 1940's by Tom Hamilton Malibu was intended to be a luxury resort for movie stars. By the early 50's the project was abandoned and Young Life purchased the camp.
